Dr. Safin attended Seton Hall University, New Jersey College of Medicine and Dentistry for his dental training, earning his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the First District Dental Society of New York City where he participates in continuing education to constantly update his knowledge and training. This allows him the opportunity to learn and experience the latest tools, materials, and treatment methods which he incorporates into his practice.

In collaboration with his longtime friend and colleague Dr. Charles Marks, Dr. Safin relocated his office in May of 2010

Outside the office, Dr. Safin enjoys playing tennis, working with computer graphics, and photography.
